Practice Philosophy
We work hard at Valley Women’s Health Care to provide confidential, individualized care, emphasizing the importance of long-term preventive healthcare that is scientifically based. Patients deserve time to express their concerns and receive counseling and therapy based on their individual health profile and preferences. In turn, patients have a responsibility to provide accurate, complete descriptions of their health history, current problems, and medications.
Dr. Lemagie believes that the practice of medicine is always changing and enjoys continual learning, from professional journals and conferences, as well as from her patients. Internet searches benefit both patients and physicians. She has major medical journal subscriptions and library title subscriptions in gynecology, primary care and internal medicine.
She provides primary and preventive care, in addition to specialized gynecology services. She can refer you to specialized practitioners in Alaska and Outside as you may need them.
